Rich is a partner with the firm’s Tax Research Department of BGR. His practice focuses on advising individuals and privately-held entities on tax planning strategies. His clients include real estate developers, property management operations, health care organizations, manufacturers, auto dealerships, professional service organizations, tax-exempt organizations, and entrepreneurs.
Rich has extensive experience structuring business transactions with the use of flow-thru entities. He also works with his clients on reducing their estate taxes by consulting with them on the use of trusts and other sophisticated planning tools. He has successfully represented his clients at the federal and state level on tax controversy matters.
Rich is active in the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Tax and Advisory Committee for the AICPA, as well as a variety of committees for the Maryland Association of CPAs.
