Robert is Director of the Quality Control Department and in that capacity he is responsible for the firm's quality assurance systems. He provides consulting services to clients on technical financial accounting and reporting matters.
He has over 25 years of experience in the accounting field, both in public accounting and private industry. Prior to joining BGR, Robert was a partner in a national accounting firm where he served for many years as national director of audit and accounting. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at several private real estate companies and Chief Financial Officer at a publicly traded REIT.
Robert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has earned the following degrees:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Baruch College at the City University of New York;
- Master of Science, Johns Hopkins University; and
- Bachelor of Science, New York University.
